Requesting More Information from ISO

ISO experts are available to help you review your PPCTM and the changes you could make to improve your PPC. There is no charge for such reviews.

If you want information on a specific element of your PPC evaluation — or suggestions for improvements — your community's chief executive officer, or other authorized official, should submit a written request to your ISO Regional Processing Center.

If you request recommendations for improvements, you will receive:

  • improvement statements from your most recent PPC survey
  • classification details
  • a summary of hydrant flow data

When you're considering improvements that could lead to a better PPC, you should carefully weigh the costs and benefits. ISO believes your primary objective should be to improve service to your community and to enhance public safety. The better PPC and the possible reductions in insurance premiums for property owners should be only a collateral benefit.
